Gutline: IBS & FODMAP Diary
iPhone app
Gutline
Gutline is a private diary for digestive symptoms. Record an entry in about ten seconds and let the app show the pattern in your own entries, then take one clear page to your doctor.
What the app does
- Records severity, stool type on the Bristol scale, named symptoms with a level, urgency, blood, medication taken, tags and your own notes.
- Logs meals, drinks and habits, and asks how you reacted afterwards.
- Keeps a medication and therapy plan you tick off each day.
- Charts the severity trend, the stool types, your symptoms and the tags you use most.
- Exports a PDF of the last 90 days with a summary on page one for an appointment, and a CSV of every entry.
- No account, no server, no ads, no analytics. Nothing leaves the iPhone unless you pass a file on yourself.
- A Face ID or passcode lock keeps the diary private.
Gutline is for anyone who has been asked, or has decided, to keep a symptom diary, for instance with IBS, at the start of a low-FODMAP diet or before a doctor's appointment.
Gutline is a subscription (Gutline Pro). The purchase screen shows the price and any free trial before you buy. Entries you have already recorded stay readable on your iPhone after a subscription ends.
Gutline records what you enter. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything and it does not give medical advice. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
